BUTCHERING KNOW HOW

Real butchering done the right way — on-site, stress-free, and handled with care.

At Mick’s Butchery Service, I bring years of hands-on experience straight to your property. This section gives you a look behind the scenes — how I process livestock, what you can expect on the day, and why doing it on-farm makes all the difference..

THE PROCESS

Here’s how it works when you book Mick’s Butchery Service — simple, clean, and done right on your property:

1. Book Your Spot
Give me a call or send a message to lock in a processing date. I’ll ask a few questions about your animal (beef or lamb) and your location.

2. On-Site Setup
I arrive on the day with all the gear needed — saws, knives, tables, and chillers if required. You just need to have the animal ready and a clean area nearby.

3. Humane and Respectful Kill
I’ll handle the humane kill with care and efficiency. Animal welfare is always a top priority.

4. Full Processing
I break down the carcass using seam butchery techniques to get the best cuts possible. Whether you want whole roasts or meal-sized portions, I’ll cut it the way you want it.

5. Clean Up & Pack Down
I leave the area clean and tidy. You’re left with properly processed, clearly labelled meat — ready for freezing or cooking.

6. Honest Advice
Need help understanding the cuts or how to store them? I’m happy to walk you through it all. You’ll know exactly what you’re getting.

WHAT I DO

I don’t just break down your beef or lamb — I finish the job properly, so it’s ready for the freezer, BBQ, or the frypan.

Here’s what I can do for you:

Sausages – Packed fresh, seasoned how you like
Mince – Ideal for everyday meals, clean and lean
Corned Meat – corned and ready for the pot
Schnitzels – Thin, neat, and perfect for the pan
Rolled Roasts – Seasoned or plain, tied and trimmed for even cooking
Diced Meat – Handy, bite-sized pieces for stews and stir-fries
Marinated Meats – Flavoured and ready to cook
Custom Cuts – Just let me know how you want it

Whether you’re feeding a family or stocking the freezer, I’ll make sure every bit of the animal is used properly — no waste, no shortcut
